Vincenzo Ruggieri and his daughters Alessia, Marzia and Clarissa have established the Paola Droghetti Foundation on March 19, 1998 with the aim of honoring the life and work of their wife and mother Paola Droghetti Ruggieri, conservator-curator.

The charter of the foundation has been officially approved by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Environmental Conservation. The decree dated February 15, 2000, has been published in the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic of March 16, 2000.

The Paola Droghetti Foundation is a resident non-profit organization of social purpose (ONLUS) according to Article 11, paragraph 1 of the Decree No. 460/1997.
